Me: Taylor, stop looking at the TV and read your book please.

*He has to read a book 10-15 minutes a day for school and though I normally have the TV off, Claire was laying on the couch with vinegar soaking in her ear for a swimmers ear infection, and the TV was calming her.*

Me: Taylor, hon please read your book. I don't hear you reading.

Taylor: Momma, I am reading in my brain!

*He meant he was reading to himself instead of out loud.*
